What you can expect from My Dollhouse Store.
Our goal in order processing is to maintain the highest quality service while being as efficient as possible. We strive to expedite each and every order quickly so you can receive your dollhouse in a timely manner.
Orders received for standard products are typically processed and sent on to shipping in less than one workday. Depending on the season, small orders usually ship in 1-4 days. Larger orders that must be prepared for truck shipments usually take an additional 2 days.
Shipping is via UPS from Barre, Vermont for our dollhouses and accessories, and West Virginia for our minatures. You will find a shipping chart for guidelines on the cost, and you will be charged according to the actual weight. Due to the packaging and raw material weight, some kits vary up to 5% in weight.
Dealing with damaged merchandise and filing claims:
When your merchandise arrives to you in less than perfect" condition, it is very important to identify the problem immediately while the delivery person is still there. The delievery person must be notified of the damage. Please insist that they make a record of boxes which are damaged, crushed etc. Even dents should be noted.
Our shipping department inspects every box prior to shipping. UPS or the Frieght Carriers are responsible for any damage once it leaves our warehouse. Replacement cost can only be collected if you acknowledge the problem when you receive the goods. Please use the following guidelines when receiving your prducts.
UPS Deliveries:
- Befor eyou sign for delivery, carefully inspect each item.
- If the package appears damaged and it looks like contents are missing you may choose to refuse it.
- If it appears to be "box" damage only, keep it. UPS reimburses only for damages or loss of contents, not for the shipping carton.
- Notify us @ MYDOLLHOUSESTORE.COM immediately to discuss the damage and course of action to be taken.
Restocking Fee:
A restocking fee of 20% on non-damaged goods returned will be charged to cover the cost of receiving, repacking and re-shelving. Additional charges may be added to cover the cost of parts replaced due to damage.
No cash refunds. Credit will be issued to your account .
