What happens if I have parts missing and/or broken in my dollhouse kit?
Simply email us Support@ Mydollhousestore.com through the "Contact Us" option on the top of the webpage. Please include the model number , description of the damage or missing piece(s). Also include the name and address to which you would like us to send the replacement pieces.
How easy is it to build your dollhouses?
All our dollhouses contain simple, easy to follow, step-by-step instructions with expertly drafted illustrations. Our QuickBuild series of dollhouses are as easy as 1.2.3!
How do I get a replacement set of instructions?
Please email us the model number, and mailing address and we will send you the instuctions. We can also fax the information for your convenience. I am sorry, but at this time the instructions can not be emailed.
How can I get a catalog?
To obtain a catalog of one of our manufacturers' products simply email your request. Most catalogs can be purchased for $5.00. Please note we will order special requested items off any of our manufacturers lines/products. We can also provide their website so you can view the entire catalog online!
What type of nails do you recommend?
Most dollhouse manufacturers' recommend using 3/4" brads or any nail with a very small head. These can be purchased at most hardware stores.
What type of glue do you recommend for shingling the roof?
Non-water based glues are necessary when shingling.
What are the differences of Exterior Wall Finishes?
Milled: MP or MM- The 3/8" Clapboard profile is milled into the surface of the exterior walls. This is the easiest and quickest way to assemble a house with clapboard siding, because it's built-in and ready to be painted.
Note: The Milled kits come in two versions:
MP- Milled cabinet grade plywood
MM- Milled 3/8" MDF- Medium Density Fiberboard
Smooth Plywood: SP- The exterior walls are smooth (no siding or textured profile). SP kits include everything you see in the picture except ,clapboard siding, edge trim, shingles, and sometimes shutters.
Brick:B- The exterior walls are pre-finished. They have painted wooden brick attached to them.
What style s of houses are available?
Colonial, Federal, Victorian, Playscale size, 1/2" scale, 1" scale etc.

Should I purchase a front-opening or rear-opening dollhouse?
Depends on your intentions for the dollhouse,is it for play or decoration. Shop our products and see the difference then decide for yourself.
Front opening dollhouse designs keep the dust and cats outside. (more for decor)
What do dollhouse kits provide?
Our complete kits come with everything you need to finish the dollhouse as shown in the picture with the exception of paint, glue, curtains, and sometimes shutters.

Yes. Our dollhouse kits are made with an Expandable design...Just as in real-life, your dollhouse can grow as you go with exquisite porches, dormers and additions.
How do I obtain items your manufacturers carry, but which are not shown on your webside?
Email your request with the model number, name of the manufacturer and if known catalogpage number and we will be glad to see if we can obtain the item(s) at little or no exta cost. We are here to serve you!
